Keep Rusty afloat for as long as you can.

• Find your way

  Hold anywhere in the left or right third of the playfield to steer. Slide between zones, or use ← → / A D.

• Grab the good stuff

  Collect oil barrels. Golden bonus trails are worth double.

• Stay out of trouble

  Dodge mines, wrecks and missiles. Oil slicks send you spinning. Keep your hull above zero.

• Survive the gunboat

  Rusty moves ahead when the gunboat arrives. Dodge its aimed bursts from behind. Survive six salvos for 250 bonus points.

• A royal detour

  Sail around Pahlavi's pier, or ram the empty timber for 500 bonus points. Avoid his platform: hitting it costs one hull.

• Lend a hand

  Pick up people in swim rings near wrecks. Every five rescued restores one life, up to three. If your hull is full, the reward is used up.

• A little extra steam

  Tap the middle third or press Space to boost. Use a second finger to keep steering. Steam recharges after six seconds.
